Matt Sitter comes to the McChrystal Group from the healthcare industry where he has held a variety of leadership positions in areas including marketing, product management, data analytics, and operations. He received his undergraduate degree in Public Policy from Brown University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Chris Fussell served on the SEAL Teams and has spent several tours in Europe and the Mediterranean during the pre-9/11 years. He came to know General McChrystal during his tours as a junior officer at Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) (subordinate command to Joint Special Operations Command or JSOC), then more closely while serving as his Aide-de-Camp (ADC) during General McChrystal’s final year as JSOC Commander. Chris also did a tour at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California where his thesis research was on the function and processes of Intelligence Fusion Cells - a micro-case study of the broad interagency re-organization that was being driven by JSOC. Chris is the Director of Business Development at the McChrystal Group.

Rob served three tours in Iraq, and among his accomplishments was his role in commanding the first mini-sub operation since Vietnam in 2003. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Brooke is a executive officer to General McChrystal. Her duties include speech writing and development, researching geopolitical trends, and creating intellectual capital for McChrystal Group. Prior to joining the McChrystal Group, she served in Afghanistan as Office of Secretary of Defense Special Advisor to the Commander, International Security Assistance Force. She was also an adviser for Middle East and Central Asian foreign and defense policies at the U.S. Department of Defense. She studied International Relations at the Johns Hopkins University.

Mike Hoover is a Command Sergeant Major who has spent his entire career in Army Special Operations. During his career he has led and operated as a member of teams comprised of multiple agencies and organizations. Mike was often asked by his command to serve as an interlocutor between his organization and elements from other government agencies, intelligence organizations or partner nations. His experience spans the tactical to the strategic as well as a deep understanding of the challenges of aligning multiple different entities against a common goals. Mike joins the McChrystal Group as a Consulting Manager.

Curt is responsible for identifying and structuring all client opportunities and relationships. Curt is a combat-decorated veteran and former U.S. Navy SEAL with 13 operational deployments. Curt was instrumental in executing counter-terrorism strategy in several new theaters of operation, operating with General McChrystal's leadership principles.

Rudy oversees human resources, accounting, and overall office operations. Rudy joined McChrystal Group after a distinguished career in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Sergeant Major. During his career, Rudy served multiple tours in Afghanistan and was the Enlisted Aide to seven general officers.

Mike is a senior executive mentor and organizational problem-solver with unprecedented experience. At client firms, he partners with the organization to help ensure senior leaders intent manifests in tactical execution. During his 34 years in the military, he managed and led diverse organizations including as the Command Sergeant Major of the Army Special Operations Command, the Joint Special Operations Command and the 75th Ranger Regiment. Mike is decorated combat veteran, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander of the International Security Assistance Force - Afghanistan. There he helped advise more than 125,000 combat troops from 45 countries.

JR Vines is a senior mentor to senior corporate executives. He partners with clients to help ensure senior leader's intent manifests in operational plans and execution. One of the premier combat leader's role models and mentors, LTG Vines impacted officers across the Army. At his military retirement ceremony, he was given the accolade, "For the next twenty years, the combat arms commanders will look, act and lead like John Vines." LTG Vines commanded at almost every single operational level, culminating in commanding the U.S. Army's XVIII Airborne Corps, Multi-National Corps – Iraq, and the 82nd Airborne Division.

David is the co-founder and CEO of the McChrystal Group. He is responsible for the strategic vision, direction and operations of the McChrystal Group. He founded our company based on the idea of transferring critical leadership lessons taken from the last decade of military service to private industry. Dave is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he went on to serve as a leader in the Navy SEALs over a 13 year-period. He is a combat-decorated veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq.
