Anders Fridén is an Associate at McChrystal Group based in the firm's London, England office, currently advising a multinational mining company on organizational change.
Prior to joining McChrystal Group, Anders completed a number of assignments in the Swedish foreign service and military. As a diplomat, he served with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs at the embassies in Iran, Colombia, and Afghanistan. In 2011, he helped establish the British Interests Office at the Embassy of Sweden in Tehran, following the expulsion of the United Kingdom's embassy.
Between 2009-2010, Anders served with the Royal Swedish Armed Forces as a military intelligence analyst and interpreter, completing multiple deployments to Afghanistan.
Anders received a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
