Claire Avett is a Principal in McChrystal Group Leadership Institute where she serves as a Training and Engagement Specialist. In this role, Claire facilitates executive development programs that prepare business leaders, and their teams, to succeed in complex environments.
Claire has over ten years of policy strategy experience spanning the public, private and non-profit sector. Most recently, she served as Director of OECD Negotiations in the Office of Policy and International Relations at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Before her government service, Claire was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on emerging market consulting engagements throughout Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
Claire earned a Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University School of Business, focusing on strategic management and international business. She additionally holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Georgetown University, where she double-majored in Government and English as well as minored in French.
