Dmitry Vovchuk


Dmitry Vovchuk is a Principal at McChrystal Group, advising clients on organizational change, improved decision-making, and strategic alignment.

Prior to joining the firm, Dmitry spent more than 10 years in government service. During that time, he served as the Director for Eastern Europe at the National Security Council and as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Dmitry also supported the Special Envoy for the Coalition to Counter ISIL, as Director for Strategic Planning and served at the Pentagon and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. He is the recipient of the State Department’s Superior and Meritorious Honor Awards.

Previously, Dmitry worked in financial services as a registered representative and quality assurance and customer relations manager. He developed and implemented service improvement programs, helped to launch a customer support center, and led efforts to train and motivate teams.

Dmitry received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University in Political Science and Economics as well as a Master of Arts degree from Georgetown University in Security Studies. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Global Bridges Young Leaders program.
