Howie Cohen is a Partner at McChrystal Group, where he leads lines of effort on consulting engagements. He most recently oversaw the implementation of a new performance management system within a financial services client.
Prior to joining McChrystal Group, he served in account management positions for eight years at SRA International and MorganFranklin Consulting. Managing accounts valued at over $200 million in revenue, Howie’s teams delivered advanced communication and intelligence support to a variety of customers in the Defense, Homeland Security, and Treasury Departments and the Intelligence Community.
Howie served for 27 years in the US Army, and retired at the rank of Colonel. His final position in the military was commanding the White House Communications Agency from 2003-2006, delivering worldwide communications support to the President, Vice President, and White House senior staff in a no-fail environment. He has extensive hands-on experience building unique teams capable of solving complex challenges – from small teams to teams comprised of thousands.
Howie earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lafayette College, a Master of Science in Public Administration from Central Michigan University, and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
