Ted Delicath is an Associate at McChrystal Group where he currently works on servicing west coast clients, product development within the McChrystal Group, and knowledge management infrastructure.
Prior to McChrystal Group, Ted consulted for the Rocky Mountain Microfinance Institute (RMMFI) to build and show a narrative that communicated RMMFI’s positive impact on the Denver community. That work came about thanks to his 2019 summer as an Urban Leader Fellow in Denver where he worked on criminal justice reform at the Colorado State Legislature and at RMMFI. Ted also spent four years as an Infantry Officer in the US Army. During his time, he earned his Ranger tab, led two platoons, participated in the 2017 Best Ranger Competition, and deployed to Cameroon as US Army Africa’s Liaison Officer to the US Embassy.
Ted received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University, magna cum laude, and his master’s degree in Security and Conflict from Dublin City University as a George S. Mitchell Scholar. In addition to his Urban Leader fellowship, he was also a CORO Public Affairs Fellow from 2013-2014, and an AVG Venture Fellow in 2019. After his best friend passed away from colon cancer in college, he helped start the Andrew Weishar Foundation (AWF). The Foundation helps families battling childhood cancer in the Chicagoland area. To date, AWF has gifted over $1 million in donations and created a network of compassion across Chicago.
