Meet Norman Wright, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer at UnitedHealth Group. The UnitedHealth Group headquarters are in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In June 2020, after George Floyd's murder, the city took on a new significance: as protests erupted across the city, and the nation at large. You could see the smoke rising from the protests from some UnitedHealth Group's windows.

Norman Wright, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer at UnitedHealth Group, saw firsthand how these protests were affecting their customers and partners. When invited by then-CEO Dave Wichmann to speak to his experiences as an African American leader in the moment, Norman accepted, speaking to their organization of over 300,000 people.
