Meet Taryn

Taryn Brymn is a Senior Advisor at McChrystal Group. She has spent the last decade building peer networking communities for leading global C-suite executives and board directors, helping them reimagine solutions to perennial business challenges. Recently, she led executive programs at Future Forum, a research consortium backed by Slack, Boston Consulting Group, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and MillerKnoll. Using Future Forum’s quarterly desk worker research, Taryn turned data into dialogue centered on new ways of working and managing teams.

Prior to Slack, Taryn was Director of Programs at G100 Network (part of the World 50 Group), where she shaped membership programs for leaders of F500 companies. Earlier in her career, Taryn held roles in nonprofit grant execution and management. Most recently, her work supported the revitalization of cultural institutions in New York City at the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.

Taryn’s advising approach is characterized by a blend of strategic thinking, data, hands-on experience, and a deep commitment to fostering an environment where flexible and inclusive teams can do the best work of their lives. She challenges leaders to embrace change and reimagine the future.

She has been a frequent speaker, sharing insights and best practices on flexible work, managing distributed teams, and organizational effectiveness, showcasing a commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations.

Taryn holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University at Buffalo and a master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She resides in Brooklyn, NY.
