Meet Elana
Elana Van Arnam is an Associate on McChrystal Group’s Implementation team, where she supports organizations navigating complex challenges and periods of change. She works closely with leaders to assess organizational needs, design practical solutions, and support implementation efforts that improve alignment, communication, and execution across teams.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
Before joining McChrystal Group, I studied theology at the University of Notre Dame, earning a Master of Divinity degree. Previously, I served as a Logistics Officer in the Marine Corps, where I held leadership positions as a Platoon and Company Commander and deployed with Special Purpose MAGTF to U.S. Central Command. Between military service and graduate studies, I worked at Heroes and Horses, a veteran nonprofit in Montana.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
I am passionate about building high-trust, high-performing teams and was drawn to McChrystal Group for their Team of Teams approach to solving complex leadership and organizational challenges.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
Outside of work, I love skiing, golf, and being in the mountains.
