Pat Jordan is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience across complex, multi‑hospital systems and academic medical centers. He is known for building high‑performing cultures, guiding large‑scale operational transformations, and leading organizations through financial turnarounds, integrations, and strategic growth. As a Senior Advisor at McChrystal Group, he brings deep expertise in hospital operations, system strategy, shared services optimization, and enterprise performance improvement.
Before joining McChrystal Group, Pat Jordan served as Chief Operating Officer for Dartmouth Health, where he oversaw system operations for a $3.5B academic and community health system of 15,000+ colleagues and 1,500 physicians. His leadership drove major shared‑services integration efforts, more than $1B in capital project execution, and significant turnaround successes across multiple hospitals. He also led the expansion of the system’s pharmacy enterprise, achieving $1.2B in contribution margin improvement.
Previously, he served as COO of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, where he was Executive in Charge of the organization’s EPIC implementation—delivering $130M in revenue growth and $50M in cost reductions within two years. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Newton‑Wellesley Hospital, including roles as Interim President and COO. Under his leadership, the hospital achieved top‑decile outcomes in patient, employee, and physician satisfaction and was consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work.
Pat Jordan earned his Executive MBA from Suffolk University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fitchburg State College.
