Meet Chris
Chris Jones is a Partner at McChrystal Group where he helps clients solve their business challenges through the optimization of business strategies leveraging McChrystal Group's unique capabilities and world-class teams.
What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?
For the past 12 years, I’ve worked at leading human capital consulting firms helping to drive top and bottom-line growth for our clients. As a Partner at both Gallup and Korn Ferry, I was responsible for architecting and executing strategic initiatives to drive organizational performance across my portfolio of clients. I’ve worked across both global and regional firms in industries including technology, financial services, manufacturing, and professional services.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
I am a big believer in culture having an outsized impact on organizational performance and was very impressed with both the approach McChrystal Group takes to supporting cultural transformation inside organizations and the impact our clients rave about during and after engagements. Since joining the firm I’ve been even more impressed with the overall talent of teams and am excited every day to learn from so many.
Why are you passionate about leaders & teams?
All people deserve a great place to work. Unfortunately, most leaders and managers have not been given the tools or developed skills required to deliver this reality. Being able to work with organizations to support this growth and watch as business performance grows with it is unbelievably rewarding.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
When not working I'm trying to be outside as much as possible golfing or running. If not outside I'm usually tracking my favorite teams (Cubs, Jayhawks) or exploring the culinary scene of whatever city I'm in at the time.
