Edessa Bautista

Meet Edessa

Edessa Bautista is an Associate on the Academy Team. She manages and coordinates the logistics of multiple learning and development projects to ensure all team members are adequately prepared and aligned to execute the program. Additionally, she supports learning designers in shaping and customizing learning content and materials.

What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?

I was a high school Math teacher for a decade. Then, I transitioned to be an education consultant. Following that, within the same organization, I moved into a senior program consultant position that allowed me to work with district, charter, and school leaders in the state of California as their partner in strategic talent acquisition, management, and development. As well, we designed and implemented a high-touch advising framework for aspiring California educators to ensure completion of their credentialing program, employment, and tenure in their respective fellowship.

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

McChrystal Group's ethos on leadership, team dynamics, and values aligns with mine. The diverse expertise of leaders in the organization is very exciting to me because I thrive in environments where I work with people I can learn from and with. The connections I've made so far have been very meaningful and I am excited to grow in this firm.

What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?

I love exploring new restaurants, dessert shops, cafes, and hiking spots!
