Meet Andrew

Andrew Stephens is a Principal supporting implementation efforts across a wide variety of public and private sector clients. Focused on helping clients resolve complex strategic and organizational problems.

What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?

I most recently served as Director of the Project Management Office for a large international biopharma CDMO.  Prior to that, I have spent over 15 years of experience leading cross-functional teams across the energy, biotech, and chemicals sectors to deliver complex projects and strategic transformations. I began my career as a chemical engineer, advancing through technical, commercial, and leadership roles at large multinational energy companies.  My roles have ranged from process engineering support for refineries and chemical plants, optimizing global supply chains, developing and deploying new products, building global market strategies, as well as generating revenue growth opportunities. 

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

I joined McChrystal group to work with experienced professionals in challenging roles, dedicated to operationalizing strategies, building strong teams, and leading change.

What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?

I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside hiking, skiing, scuba diving, fishing, and running. I love to travel and visit new places, as well as spending time with friends and family.
