Meet Stephen
Stephen Mais served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Hubbell Incorporated for over 17 years, retiring in early 2022. In this role, he oversaw HR functions for the enterprise, including Staffing, Compensation, Corporate Communications, Benefits and Labor Relations. During Steve’s tenure, he reported to three different Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officers.
Prior to joining Hubbell in 2005 in his current position, Steve spent 15 years with Pepsi Bottling Group, serving in a variety of roles with increasing levels of responsibilities. Before coming to Hubbell, his most recent role with PBG was as Director of Staffing and Capability. In this capacity, Steve lead all worldwide Organizational Development and Staffing efforts.
Steve earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and his MBA from Arizona State University. He and his wife split their time between Newtown, Connecticut, and Bluffton, SC. They have two grown children, both living in Boston, MA.
